HOW TO VOTE
1. Check If You Are On The Voters List
Before Election Day, take a moment to confirm that you are on the Voters List and that your information is up to date. Ensuring your name and mailing address are correct helps make the voting process quicker and more efficient when you arrive at the polls.
2. Find Your Voting Location
Use the map below to confirm which Ward you live in before Election Day. Start by typing your street number and the first few letters of your street name into the search bar at the top of the map. Once your address appears, select it and the map will display your Ward.

How It Works — Four Steps
Apply for a mail-in ballot beginning September 1, 2026. Complete the application and submit by:
- In person — Town Hall, 575 Rossland Rd. E. Sept. 1 – Oct. 21, 2026
- By mail — Town Hall, 575 Rossland Rd. E., Whitby Sept. 1 – Oct. 4, 2026
Once your application is approved, a voting kit will be issued.
- By mail On or after Oct. 5 and before Oct. 13, 2026
- Picked up in person On or after Oct. 5 and before Oct. 21, 2026, 4:30 p.m.
Complete your ballot following the instructions included in your kit.
Return your completed voting kit by the deadline.
- In person — Town Hall, 575 Rossland Rd. E. On or before Oct. 26, 2026, 4:30 p.m.
- By mail — prepaid Canada Post envelope On or before Oct. 18, 2026 Note: ballots returned from outside Canada should allow additional mailing time.
